Julio Quesada Museum

Crevillent

The Museo Julio Quesada was opened in 1999 and contains a large collection of work by one of the best watercolour artists in Europe. The museum is the outcome of the important social work of the Cooperativa Eléctrica San Francisco de Asís de Crevillent, a company regarded as one of the most important energy cooperatives in Spain.

The museum is divided into two rooms, the Quesada Room and the Exhibition Area.

The collection of the Museo Julio Quesada consists of 140 works by the artist, along with paintings by other artists.

Most of the paintings on display are watercolours of landscapes, portraits and traditional scenes, but oil paintings and charcoal sketches are also on show.
